Meet the Team
 Karen  Hello, my name is Karen, and I'm the Office Manager for Dr. Epstein's office. I grew up in Huntington and after graduating from Walt Whitman High School, I went to college in Iowa. While still in college, I met and married the love of my life and settled in Iowa. I worked in customer relations for a large retailer. My three children were born in Iowa, but when the youngest child was twelve, we decided to move back to Huntington to be closer to my family. I didn't know anything about orthodontics when I started working with Dr. Epstein, but I know a great deal about working with people. I was delighted when Dr. Epstein told me that one of his cardinal principles is that if the patient isn't happy, he is not happy. I've enjoyed a wonderful, fulfilling relationship with Dr. Epstein, his staff, and our patients since 1982. Marybeth  Hello, my name is Marybeth, and I'm an orthodontic technician for Dr. Epstein. I've been in the orthodontic field since 1986, starting as an orthodontic assistant after school during my senior year at Herricks High School. I have been working with Dr. Epstein since January 2004. I am also a certified laboratory technician and certified in CPR. I enjoy my job because I like meeting new people, helping them achieve their goal of getting a beautiful smile, and making new friends along the way. I have three children in the Huntington School system. I'm active in the PTA, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and the Huntington Lacrosse League. Dawn  Hello, my name is Dawn and I've been an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Epstein since January 2000. I was trained in orthodontic assisting in 1996 but didn't seek employment at that time as my son was very young. I'm very happy in the orthodontic field. I love orthodontics because the work is interesting and it's amazing to see people's teeth go from crooked to beautiful. I like working with kids (especially with the nervous and apprehensive ones). I enjoy working for Dr. Epstein because I see how diligent he is with every case and how he treats everyone with the same amount of effort and concern. My family has now grown to three children. Dr. Epstein treated my oldest son, whose smile looks great. |
